Living In The Present Moment

Finding Peace And Well-Being In The Here And Now

The present moment is all we have but how many of us really experience it? We are often so busy revisiting the past or rehearsing the future that we miss the very moment we live in. In a world where Easter is advertised before Christmas is finished and the kids are back at school before they’ve even broken up, we are often in one place in our bodies and a completely different place in our minds. Our tendency to analyse and assess everything also means we miss the direct experience of life through our senses and the immediacy of the world around us. Reconnecting with the present moment has been proven to have significant benefits, including the reduction of stress and depression. In addition it opens up a new dimension of living where we can become much more aware of ourselves and appreciative of the life that we tend to take for granted. This workshop is designed to help you improve your personal well-being and quality of life by learning to live in the present moment. This does not diminish the need to reflect or to plan ahead but it will improve your capacity to live in the here and now.
