Who Do You Think You Are?

Understanding your own personality type.

Based on the work of Carl Jung, a mother-daughter team called Myers-Briggs developed an approach to personality that explains how love, work and life might be handled according to certain preferences we have. There are sixteen different personality types. Understanding your own can shed light on your innate behaviours, motivations and challenges in life. Understanding other personality types can help you appreciate the differences and similarities between yourself and others and what this means for your personal and professional relationships.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to:

  • Understand your own personality better and why you act in certain ways
  • Identify your personal preferences in four key areas
  • Recognise why you love the things you do whilst other things frustrate you to distraction
  • Appreciate the differences between yourself and others
  • Become aware of your strengths, motivations, potential 'blind spots' and challenges
